we have tried to increase the cursor limit on OE database but it does not work

There were some emails with malformed links stuck in QUEUED_EMAILS_MESSAGES table after clearing those emails mailer service started working fine.

  • In that case, might I suggest accepting your own answer so the question becomes "closed"? – Atila Sos Mar 3 '18 at 9:36
  • I don't really see the connection between "malformed links" and hitting the limit on the number of open cursors in Oracle. If you could provide us with more details, perhaps we can make sure it doesn't happen in the future. – Peter Kjaer Mar 13 '18 at 13:41
  • @PeterKjaer if u see the error logs open cursors are exceeding while executing SP "SH_OEDB.MAILINGS_SAVE_LINKURLS " so i guess it is because of creating tracking URL without specifying title for it.i don't have other information apart from this logs. – Abdul Qadir Mar 21 '18 at 9:27
