SI4T (short for Search Integration 4 Tridion) is a set of open source projects to help you get SDL Tridion CMS managed content into your web app search index
SI4T is a generic framework for integration of the SDL Tridion CMS with front-end search engines for your web applications. As such it is concerned with:
- Configuring what content in the CMS gets indexed
- Generating indexing data/indexing instructions
- Providing a framework for deploying data into a search index/notifying a search engine of (un/re)publishing actions
