Http to Https Redirect in How can I redirect users from my old HTTP Tridion CME instance to my new HTTPS version of the CME?

Is it possible to redirect the Tridion CMSpeople from http to https in the same instance. of the Tridion CME? What iI am trying to say is i have my CMSCME is available at http://mycms.com and now I have added SSL andto it so now iI have a new url, https://mycms.com. So now 

I want all my old users that usewho have been using http to be redirected https when they try to log into Tridion. 

I have tried many methods using URL rewrite and Custom Errors and nonnone worked. I usuall just getanusually get an error that Tridion cannot find the Editor.axpxEditor.axpx.

Is this even possible inon the same Tridion IIS instance?
