Sep 24, 2014 at 9:25 | comment | added | user3760419 | As my initial problem is solved I will create a new (simpler) question for this broker challenge. Thanks.
Sep 24, 2014 at 9:12 | comment | added | Bart Koopman | @user3760419 the tcdl tags in the broker are correct, they should be resolved by the component presentation assembler, but there are too many variables to give a useful answer on what is going wrong in your situation.
Sep 24, 2014 at 8:31 | comment | added | user3760419 | Everything is set to REL, I am using only RenderComponentPresentation and I am getting tcdl tags in the broker db, for Commercial block: <h1>Commercial block 1 Title</h1> <tcdl:ComponentPresentation type="Embedded" componentURI="tcm:32-19349" templateURI="tcm:32-17299-32" xmlns:tcdl="tridion.com/...'><h3>Commercial 9 Title</h3> <p>Commercial 9 Text </p></tcdl:ComponentPresentation> But this is not working as needed as <tcdl:ComponentP...> is not getting Commercial 9, but instead it writes out Embedded content from Commercial block 1.

@user3760419 you can do that, but just calling @@RenderComponentPresentation(Field,"CT1")@@ should already do that for you. If it doesn't then most likely your Publication Target is not set to REL.

Sep 23, 2014 at 12:03 | comment | added | user3760419 | Hi Bart, so I need to output <tcdl:ComponentPresentation... from Commercial block for each commercial and to make sure that individual commercials get stored in the broker DB. Tnx.

Sep 23, 2014 at 10:01 | comment | added | user3760419 | Hi Bart, It seems I am failing to explain what my challenge is. I have give it one more try by updating original question with "Additional information (functional level)" section. Thank you for your patience.

There is no need to make the change you suggest, @@RenderComponentPresentation(Field,"CT1")@@ should generate that (provided that CT1 is a valid Component Template ID). But you will need to set your Target Language to REL on your Publication Target. And still you don't give me any information that would validate you need the CTs to be dynamic. So as a solution I would start with the 3 points I give you and proceed from there, I have a feeling you are making everything too complex for yourself from the start...

Sep 22, 2014 at 14:28 | comment | added | user3760419 | Hi Bart, Page is working (showing Dynamic CP for CT20). I need both templates to be dynamic and I can not add both of them on the Page level as component presentations. Please see my notes in the original post under "Possible solution: Change CT20 to:". That is the direction I am currently going to... but it looks wrong although it would probably work...
