• this issue happens when click on "Update Preview" button on experience manager. checked all JARs or DLLs, web.config on CD, cannot find the right path to solve the issue. – Lucas Liu Aug 18 '14 at 19:26

Hard to figure out your issues, but this is possibly the same question here:

Database exception on Session Broker database for Experience Manager on Tridion 2013 SP1

I'd check off the steps asked in the question then come back if you've still got an issue with a more specific question.

 • this posting is very close to mine with only difference is: org.hibernate.StaleStateException: Batch update returned unexpected row count from update [0]; actual row count: 0; expected: 1 – Lucas Liu Aug 18 '14 at 19:29
 • Exception type: ConfigurationException Exception message: <JavaException> <Type>com/tridion/configuration/ConfigurationException</Type> <Message><![CDATA[Ambient Data Framework configuration was not properly initialized.]]></Message> <StackTrace><![CDATA[com.tridion.configuration.ConfigurationException: Ambient Data Framework configuration was not properly initialized. at Tridion.ContentDelivery.AmbientData.Runtime.AmbientRuntime.Setup() – Lucas Liu Aug 18 '14 at 19:40
 • hi lucas, my point is still the same, there's a number of things you need to check, other than just the library files suchs as configs, connection settings etc – johnwinter Aug 18 '14 at 19:41
 • checked: 1. Wrappers YES 2. cd_storage_conf.xml YES 3. AmbientData HttpModule YES 4. PreviewContentModule YES 5. cd_ambient_conf.xml YES 6. OData Webservice YES 7. cd_ambient_conf YES – Lucas Liu Aug 18 '14 at 19:53
