I have just setup the DXA 2.0 CTP in Web 8.5. I have published all the Pages but when I try to load up the home page I get an internal server error.

In the Logs, I find that the new Model Service is not able to the page. Even though the page has been published and I can see it in the database. Has anyone come across this?

After publishing Components (as DCP), I now get this new error:

  • Your new error makes it look like some of your content is published with a different template than the DXA templates

  • Also check the Model Service log file(s). It may provide more information where the problem lies exactly.

To fix this issue make sure to publish the following 2 items in CMS.

  1. Sitemap [Navigation] - Categories and Keywords

  2. Generate Data Presentation - Dynamic Component Presentation (DCP)

DXA 2.0 CTP requires Components to be published as DCPs - I assume that this will change before actual release.

  • Unfortunately publishing as DCP did not resolve the issue, but now I get a different error
