You should be able to add a pipeline element after the "Tridion-Commit-TX" pipeline and before the Cleanup Step, which then should act as a PostCommit. In XO, the same happens: <!-- Add the following pipelines after the existing "Tridion-Commit-TX" pipelines --> <Pipeline Id="Tridion-Process-PostCommit" Action="Deploy" Verb="Process"> <...

No, it is currently not supported. We're awaiting the release of Tridion Sites 9.1 + to examine the changes made to the GUI.

Use the StructureGroup constructor to get a new SG, something like this: StructureGroup newSg = new StructureGroup(session, parentSGTcmId); Here is a snippet from the API docs:

The first error shows you are supplying the parameters in the incorrect format. Hope below steps should work for you - Make sure you have installed elastic search 5.5 or 5.6 version running. For windows environment use single hyphen (-). It should be like .\installElasticSearchIndexes.ps1 -es-host "localhost" -es-port "9200" -es-scheme "http" In this ...

You can rename your existing publications, perform the install and then bearing in mind you will need to account for Blueprinting, you can integrate the contents of organizational items as best suits your needs. I just got reminded I had some problems with this a while back, have a glance here too: TRI Import.ps1 fails for websites-only Also, Bart had ...

The easiest way to find out the endpoint URL is to check the Windows environment variable on the CM server using the following PowerShell command: get-item env:tridion_ttm_serviceurl This should give a value such as: http://localhost:81/ttm201601 Here's some code that I used recently on my Tridion Sites 8.5 environment for getting the Client: ...

Indeed!, you missed to Installing the DXA Model Extension in content service. Try the following steps to fix: Create the extensions folder in content service root. Copy the \dxa\cis\dxa-model-service-extension\udp-content-dxa-extension-assembly-11.0.0-1047-core.zip file to extensions folder UnInstall the Tridion SessionContent Service Re-install the ...

Your assumption is correct. The preview token is only set after Update Preview is clicked. It's always been this way. Not this cookie no. It's set by the XPM client when it retrieves a result back from the Update Preview call Not that I am aware of. Note that Session Preview != XPM. It's a subset feature of XPM, so the IsSessionPreview property is behaving ...

One workaround I've found is to temporarily move all of the aforementioned templates into temporary new folder locations, to allow the import operation to succeed. Then, once the cms-import.ps1 script is successfully run, the new templates will be in the correct location. Finally, to make this work, it's necessary to compare each of the new templates to the ...

There is no provider to make DD4T version 1 work with Tridion 9. You have 2 choices: Upgrade to DD4T 2. Create your own Tridion 9 provider. If you go for option 2, you must also update the ProviderAssemblyNames.cs class in the DD4T.ContentModel.Contracts assembly, and add your custom provider name there.

First, I highly recommend Will Price's excellent post on "DCP Ettiqutte:" http://www.tridiondeveloper.com/dcp-etiquette-why-would-you-make-a-component-template-dynamic Let me also add that there are actually three options with pages and "dynamic" content: 3 types In my "Dynamic Vs. Static Component Presentations Vs..." post, I explained we have: (...

Using pages is ideal when there are lots of different pieces of content that need to appear on a single webpage. For example, a banner carousel at the top, some 'article' content, some promos, a form, etc. Having lots of content on the webpage like this would be difficult to scale and for editors to understand what content will appear where using a component-...

It seems you're asking two questions. Do we need to apply the cumulative update Yes. It clearly states (on the link provide by Atila) that you can upgrade from SDL Web 8 "with Cumulative Update 1 applied". I'd suggest it probably makes sense to apply the cumulative update anyway - it's likely you're simply working around a few problems (or even unaware ...

Scaling out the deployer: ActiveMQ and Amazon SQS are supported. For server side caching JMS is supported but the JMS vendor is not specified as it does not matter, just the type of messages. Here's a link Robert: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000007093 That articles quotes the documentation (8.5): https://docs.sdl.com/...

The bottom of your error states Placeholder value is found. Please specify valid configuration for State Store database. This means that the state configuration (which you can find in the cd_deployer_conf.xml contains some placeholder value (${...}) instead of an actual value. Older-style templates (i.e. CT with DXA metadata stating what the Region (View) Name is) can still be used, but may be confusing for the user, because the Region information on the CT is ignored; the Region (View) Name is determined by the “native” Region and its Region Schema. If you do a fresh install of the DXA Example Site (and Core Module), you will see ...

Rolling upgrades are only supported and tested from the previous point release. In this case it means that a rolling upgrade from 9.0 > 9.1 is supported and everything else isn’t. So, in total, supported: 8.5 -> 9.0 9.0->9.1 9.1->9.5 From 8.5 to 9.1 you'll have to be creative and press on with the upgrade. The most viable route might be a staged upgrade ...

The cms-import.ps1 script has parameters for dealing with this problem. There's a very good reason why a script is provided to deal with the import rather than a compiled programme: you can read the script yourself. So for example at line 81, you can see how they use the parameters to create a base webdav URL. $WebDavUrl = "/webdav/$masterPublication/$...

As posted in this announcement, SDL Tridion 2013 SP1 became out of Standard Support as of December 31, 2019. Quick Fix: SWitch off the Custom Resolver (the one that controls the link depth resolving). It's not formally supported but will be in DXA 2.1 as far as I know.
